Mckennlie's Recovery is a blessing!

August 6, 2012 McKennlie had a good day today. Lisa her physical therapist was back and she really made McKennlie work hard today! McKennlie showed her new found balance standing and she even started to step to correct her balance when she would start to tip. She did amazing in music therapy today and played some tunes on the keyboard. She is a little frustrated with lefty because the small motor skills have not quite caught up to her right, but we know they will! Sara Jäger ( one of McKennlie's doctors from the PICU) came to see her today and was so impressed with McKennlie and how she is doing! She also brought McKennlie some hair bows for her birthday! McKennlie's miracle has touched so many lives and we are so grateful that McKennlie is willing to do hard things! Count down to coming home is on and we can't wait to bring our girl home and for this sweet family to be able to be together! I got to see her for the first time after the accident and get a picture with her, and her dad. Check out my Facebook page and take a look...this was a blessing to me, I sure am grateful to Father in Heaven for this little girl. I have been blessed to have such wonderful people in my life. Friends, Family and everyone that has always been there for me, even those I know not that still pray for in my behalf. I know that Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ are mindful of us and always are ever watchful for our behalf. Till next post! Laters all!

McKennlie's recovery

July 14, 2012

"McKennlie is rolling all by herself on the floor. She can also push up on her elbows and look up when she is on her belly. Her favorite part of the day was playing soccer in physical therapy. She stood up and the therapists helped her balance and Mel rolled her the soccer ball to her and she booted it 30 times. Her friend Tori was trying to show her that she had painted her toenails green in Mckennlie's honor and McKennlie could not see them so she used her stomach muscles and sat up. We are so excited for each new progression. Please keep praying for our girl! We know that faith and prayers and a loving merciful Heavenly Father will get our girl better."

This proves that There are little miracles in our lives, a power beyond our capacities....

The words of a Prophet once again!

Thomas S. Monson shared The Celestial Kingdom

Time passes quickly. Many parents say that it's like yesterday that their children were born. Now those children are grown, perhaps with children of their own. Where did the years go? they ask. We cannot call back time that is past, we cannot stop time that now is, and we cannot experience the future in our present state. Time is a gift, a treasure not to be put aside for the future but to use wisely in the present.

The Words of a Prophet!

What joy Conference brings to my heart. What joy it is that I can choose and can live and apply the teachings learned from our General Authorities and a living Prophet, even President Thomas S. Monson. Thanks be to God for these glorious blessings. These talks have inspired and helped me, now I hope you will watch and be inspired, and if so also be blessed and healed from pains you maybe facing now. I would encourage you all, including myself to re-watch General Conference talks and read them too.

Happy 4th of July everyone!

Our Father in Heaven planned the coming forth of the Founding Fathers and their form of government as the necessary great prologue leading to the restoration of the gospel. Recall what our Savior Jesus Christ said nearly two thousand years ago when He visited this promised land: “For it is wisdom in the Father that they should be established in this land, and be set up as a free people by the power of the Father, that these things might come forth.” America, the land of liberty, was to be the Lord’s latter-day base of operations for His restored church.

Unfortunately, we as a nation have apostatized in various degrees from different Constitutional principles as proclaimed by the inspired founders. We are fast approaching that moment prophesied by Joseph Smith when he said: “Even this nation will be on the very verge of crumbling to pieces and tumbling to the ground, and when the Constitution is upon the brink of ruin, this people will be the staff upon which the nation shall lean, and they shall bear the Constitution away from the very verge of destruction.”

I have faith that the Constitution will be saved as prophesied by Joseph Smith. It will be saved by the righteous citizens of this nation who love and cherish freedom. It will be saved by enlightened members of this Church—among others—men and women who understand and abide the principles of the Constitution.

I reverence the Constitution of the United States as a sacred document. To me its words are akin to the revelations of God, for God has placed His stamp of approval upon it.

I testify that the God of heaven sent some of His choicest spirits to lay the foundation of this government, and He has now sent other choice spirits to help preserve it.

Background

The Miracles of Life!

Mckennlie, is healing really well, and laughing. It's so great to know this and love people! What a miracle this is. Thanks be to our Father in Heaven for this miracle; and our Savior Jesus Christ, for his healing power of the Atonement through Father in Heaven. I love this! What a great day to wake up to and know of this miracle.

Today is a day of blessings, one that I am so grateful for. I never cease to pray in my heart for miracles, weather great or small, they can happen everyday. Just a small means and step at a time I believe, will make all the difference in ones life. Take life not for granted, for it is a time to prepare to meet your Maker; not that you can't have fun in this life, but just have good clean fun. I never knew before, that I would have never thought of this before, until I saw my own life and others progressing.

What a blessing life is.....I love it! Well that's all for now God bless you all....Take care!

Today's Adventures!

My nephew lil Lando spend the night at my house, he sure was hyper...we played chase, and I also tickled him. He's my lil buddy, and I love him a lot. Today we went with Grandma and myself to the park, we had a blast! We went down the kiddie slides even one that he didn't dare for a bit, but eventually went down a few times with me.

Grandma's house seems to be a place of refuge from the storm, he got really tired, so we all took naps. It's been quite the adventure, at least to me!

Gods Love for all of us!

It is amazing how mindful our Father in Heaven, and our Savior Jesus Christ are. It's such a blessing to have children in our lives to lift us up when we are feeling down. No matter what I think Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ think the same of us they want us to be happy and feel for our every pain and needs.

I hope Mckennlie pulls through, she's quite the fighter. I love that lil girl. She's a very special Spirit. We pray for you every day Mckennlie, as with your family. Take care!
